SOURCE: Swanstone Veritek BA-3060 alcove is shorter than the BT-3060 tub

that sounds like the correct dimensions. there needs to be some slack in there so the sealant can be placed around it.

Your sheet rock will go to the top of the lip of the tub and then your tile will overlap this lip. If it isn't done right, your grout will crack if you are tiling.

Unless it's a 110 tub, you don't. If the system is designed to run on 220 the circ pump and flow pump will not function properly, the power pack may not function and the tub will never reach temp. If it is a 110 hot tub I would still suggest having a licensed electrician run the line for you. Most insurance companies will not cover any type of hot tub related claim unless installed by licensed tub tech/electrician. If you insist on wiring it yourself, the BLACK wire is the "hot" wire carrying the current. In 220 installations the RED wire is the second "hot" wire. The WHITE/GREY is the neutral wire, and the GREEN is the ground. But again, I STRONGLY recommend paying the $80-$95 bucks to have it done professionally. I hope this helps =)

Balboa hot tubs..I just bought a used Balboa DU70CCAH hot tub. I need to know whether to use 8.3 or 6.3 from the tub to the breaker box. It looks like it is 8.3 wiring inside the tub on the panel but thats...

It will depend on how far away your breaker is from the control box. General rule of thumb is the larger the wire the better.
One of the biggest problems in our industry is customers end up going with a smaller wire because it will work and it is much cheaper.
Amp draw through a smaller wire from a long distance will kill your hot tub electronics over time.
The bigger the wire the better.
I say use the #6 size wire.

It wont run no lites or any thing. has power into control panal.nothing hums buzzes or any thing, want a diagram to figure this out, model number 12-322-322m thank you this is a seven sea hot tub

The wiring diagram for most control boxes made today are located on the inside panel of the control box.
If this doesn't blow the circuit breaker when you turn the GFCI on then you most likely have a bad circuit board.

What power do I need to get to the hot tub?

You will need to check on the control box under the hot tub. Most tubs can be wired ether way. Others no. If it can be wired ether way 220v runs cheaper and will heat the water a lot faster. But you will have to check on the face or door of the control box. I had a 110v outlet by mine then found it only runs on 220v. It cost me to run the 220v but I'm glad I did, it heats from 75 to 100 in less than an hour. Less run time and less power when it runs.

Hot tub display says flo2 and doesn't respond

that is a display error showing there is not enough water flow to activate the heater. Take the filter out of your tub and see if the error goes away. if it does then you need a clean filter. if it does not go away then you have probably have a bad pressure switch.
