It would help to have a bit more information on where the paper jams. but ill give this a shot any way. 241 jams clean or replace the pick wheels on the auto compensator. 201 jams no paper present change main motor drive. paper stops 3 inches through the fuser timming issue check the paper size i the paper menu check the fingers on the side of the tray letter is the 2 bottom fingers sticking out. if you have network port print the network page if it is smaller than the page change paper selction pcb located behind the logic pack. if the the line at the bottom of the read out is missing and the box is incomplete the printer is reporting leagal size paper change the paper size pcb. 202 errors check the sensor flags on the fuser. there are 2 sensors on the fuser the one on the left is the narrow media sensor the one on the right is the exit sensor. check to make sure the sensor flag is not broken. check them for fluid movement if you cant hear them snap back replace the sensors hope this helps you out

Lexmark t614 manual feed how it works

  1. Push the lower release latch. The multipurpose feeder door drops open.
  2. Pull out the metal bar in the recessed area on the multipurpose feeder, far enough to accommodate the paper you will be using.
  3. Slide the paper width guide to the far right.
  4. Prepare the print material for loading:

      • Flex paper or fan envelopes back and forth. Do not fold or crease the paper. Straighten the edges on a level surface.
      • Hold transparencies by the edges and avoid touching the print side.
      • Fan the stack of transparencies to prevent jams.
      • Be careful not to scratch or leave fingerprints on the transparencies.

  5. Use the stack height limiter as a guide for stack height when loading print materials.
  6. Load one type of print material in the multipurpose feeder. Do not mix types.
  7. Slide the paper width guide over until it fits snugly against the side of the print material.

Lexmark Optra T614 " Remove Paper Standard Bin".

I had the same problem and it was driving me nuts. Turns out it was nothing more than the little flap that hangs down at the left hand corner of the output tray. It was stuck in the up position. After resetting it I had to cycle the power and everything is copacetic. Hope that helps

Urgent! MP Feeder problem - please help!

If your application is requiring the printer to select the manual paper feeder, you will get this problem. This feature is selected different ways in different application programs and different operating systems, but usually, after you select print, there will be a popup that allows you select the number of copies, portrait or landscape mode, etc. Either here, or in a secondary popup you reach by Print Properties or Advanced or some such button, there should be a paper source selection. Select Tray 1 instead of Manual Feed.

There is also a paper source selection available from the front panel. TO select Tray 1 instead of the manual paper feed:

Menu> - Select (Paper) - Select (Paper Source)
Use the Menu> key to select Tray 1
Select - Return - Return

Sometimes, for no apparent reason, my T614 loses its mind and wants to use the manual paper feed. I turn off the printer and turn it back on again to reset it... just like Windows! I could probably use the front panel to reset the printer, but it's easier to cycle the power.

I'm betting that answering your urgent question two months later didn't help you get your very important work completed on time. I hope you are still employed.

I need help.

If your priter is showing a 241 paper jam and the paper stops in the paper tray or lower front, then you can replace the pick rollers to fix this problem. If the paper stops in the middle, then check to make sure the sensor flag in the middle left of the printer is clean and in place. If the jam is in the back of the printer then check the fuser rollers to make sure that they are rolling when the printer starts to print, check the exit sensors on the fuser, there are usually two flags, one on each side of the fuser. If there is no paper stuck in the printer, then make sure that all sensor flags are up and not stuck halfway down. Or check for dust in the sensors.
