Question about Garden

My Toro Recylcer turns over once after I pump the rubber bubble, then doesn't start. Hit the pump again, one more solid turn over, then dies, then no starting. Checked oil and gas. Had too much oil, took some out to the right level. Didn't help. Thoughts? Thanks!

You have some sort of blockage in the fuel delivery system, I would recomend a cleaning of the carb if your up to it. Just put back everything the way it came apart, watch for the little parts. I do this disassembly on a white clean shop towel or rag, usually small parts will cling to these. Do not blow with compressed air unless you dial down your compressor or have an adjustable airgun. Be careful if it's your first disassembly!

2005 Stratus Sedan dies while driving

Most likely the fuel pump. Pumps have many symptoms and this is one. Once the fuel gets warmed up the pump will slow down or just stop. After the fuel cools down, the pump returns to working. Next time it happens use a soft hammer or some like it to hit the bottom of the tank, approximately where the fuel pump is located. This jars the pump and usually it will start back up.. Change the pump.

Can't get it started Toro gas weed eater

(1)First check to make sure air filter is not clogged, next, turn the choke on. Next push the primer button 6 times (looks like a plastic see thru bubble, it will push gas to the carberator), Next pull cord till it purs only once, ( even a short purr), turn off choke and try to start.
(2) If it tried to start a little, repeat step 1, If not try to poor just the smallest amount of gas in the carburetor and try to start,
(3) If that didn't work check the spark plug and replace it if it's old or dirty!
( 4) If that doesn't work seek a proffessional but don't pay too much unless it is a top of the line tool!

Occasionally my Saniplus pump runs but doesn't drain. It seems to happen when there is a moderate amount of bubbles created. i.e. when I have showered with a shower gel and the gel foams up to create...

This sounds as if you have a venting problem if there is no air introduced into system then it cannot drain, even with a pressure pump system, the only other thing is that the pump and grinder system is faulty,if still under warranty contact mftr.

Have a 3 year old 42'' Toro Zero Turn never had a problem. Was cutting grass and it died. Will not start, no fire and does not seem as if it is getting fuel ? Does it have a fuel pump or could it be...

That unit has a fuel solenoid that is attached to the carburetor bowl. Over time this solenoid can act up at odd times. You can take off the air filter cover and manually choke the unit and see if it will start up again. I would take it in to your nearest TORO dealer. On the website it has a dealer locator to find the closest one to your zip code.

Car turns over but won't crank. spark plugs are

Turning over and cranking are often the same thing, so Im not sure what your asking... Do you mean the car turns over but wont fire, or start? If thats the case and as you say the plugs are getting spark, then your problem is gonna be the fuel pump 99% of the time... Try this little trick, have a friend hit the fuel tank from under the car with a NON metalic hammer (ie a rubber or wooden mallet or chunk of solid wood etc) while your trying to start the engine. If the car fires up, then dont risk doing that trick again as it probably wont work twice, and get it to your mechanic to get a new fuel pump installed. If it doesnt work, (it really is a 50/50 thing) then get it towed and have the fuel pump changed as its still probably the problem...

Intermittent starting when key is turned.

there may be a fuel problem. The fuel pump may not be working properly. Also, if the vehicle has been run out of fuel, there may be air in the lines and turning the ignition off and on will turn on and off the fuel pump which could push the air bubble through the system long enough to let the vehicle run and when it is turned off the air bubble will work its way back up to cause problems again. There may be a problem with the wire from the ignition to the fuel pump as well. When it wont start, you can pop the fuel line off the fuel pump while the ignition is on, or have someone turn the engine over while the line is off and it should push fuel out. If it pushes fuel out, you may have an air bubble in the line somewhere. You can get rid of the bubble by turning the engine over and crack each injector line off one at a time while the engine is being turned over.
Hope this helps!
