Question about Asko D1776 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher
The four lights on the left flash, then the four lights to the right of them flash, alternating. When I reset the start by holding it down three seconds and then press wash and start, the lights start blinking again. There is no panel on the back of a D1996 Asko dishwasher to remove and wipe out the moisture.
I'm having the same issues. What did you do to solve yours? My start button never lights up! Thanks for your help!

1. Main switch is OFF.
2. Door not properly closed.
3. Fuse has blown.
4. Power supply plug not plugged in.
5. Water tap not opened.
Please check these and let me know if any have worked.
And please remember to rate me.

This depends on the blinking pattern. Of the eight lights on the panel, if the four on the left blink on and then the right four lights blink on as the left ones go off, and keep blinking back and forth, that just means the mode has been set and the Start button pressed. After closing the door it should just continue on wherever it is in the cycle. (This is normal operation).
If you hold down the Start button, this resets the dishwasher. If you then close the door, nothing will happen because it thinks it's done.
If the lights are blinking in a different pattern, such as they all blink on and off in unison, that indicates an error condition and needs to be diagnosed. If the pump is not running constantly, then at least it's not because water is leaking out somewhere.

NO, you should get light actions even if the water was not connected. this is a main control issue. there is a control board kit available for your unit. you will need to replace this damaged control in this case. the logic sector is damaged.
