I only bought my acer aspire 6930 i cou...

I only bought my acer aspire 6930 i couple of months ago and recently it has started to play up. It won't read any discs I put in it. When i go to play them it just says please insert disc. I've tried everything I can think of. I've been on the control panel and device manager screen and by the CD/DVD rom drives tab, it says, 'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)'
I would really appreciate it if anybody could give me an idea of how to fix this?
