Question about Dell Inspiron B130 Notebook
My dell b130 won't charge. Any suggestions on finding out which compontent is the problem without buying them? What are the chances of the problem being the female part of the connection for the power cord? How do you take the back off to check the solder connections for the laptop?
From my experience with 3 DELL laptops, the problem was resolved by replacing the system board. Apparently the port the AC adaptor plugs into becomes damaged (provided you have determined it is not a battery needing replacemnet or a defective AC adaptor) and that cannot be fixed without replacing the whole system board.
