Question about Computers & Internet
My lg R500 notebook, just died on me while running on the battery (without any warning whatsoever). When restarted, with cable cord connected, the indicator in the toolbar says "0% available (plugged in, not charging)". --> I must now have the cable cord connected all the time for the computer to run.
I've tried to clean the battery, start without the battery in place, uninstall/reinstall the MS ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.
None of the above has worked?!
Help much appreciated!
Running on vista.
Laptops has something called hibernations and that works when you have a low battery it will backup your computer to the point that you lost use of the battery and if you get shutout the computer should recover in many occasions this does not work and as result you get a large file at your hard disk that consuming very large section on your hard drive and may take the whole drive and also may effect the battery. Now see if you can turn this feature off and go to your driver (cJ and delete the large file that created at the time you lost use of your computer. Recheck your battery again but you need to check and see if the cable good as in some occasions it looks ok but does not charge … see what will happen then we can go to the next step, remind you that we can not see any information that passed between you and other techs....let me know if that work for you and please do not forget to rate my service so I am able to continue providing same...god bless
