Question about LG RD2030
I would try either buying a new battery or cycling the battery that you have now, before spending the $200. Run the battery completely dead before re-charging it. I've seen handheld phones (this was years ago) that would shut down once the battery reached a specific voltage, which would not be low enough for the battery to lose enough charge to deplete its charge 'memory.' Many batteries will hold a charge for less and less time every charge cycle, simply because they aren't run down. When we encountered this problem, the manufacturers suggested that we hook a light bulb to the battery (we'd use a 12-volt car turn-signal bulb) and when the bulb would go out, we'd re-charge the battery, and then when it was fully charged, run it down with the bulb again. We'd do this three times, and the battery would be good for say another year or so. Hope this helps. If not, let us know.
