SOURCE: I need to siphon the

Hello gmknight67, I have no way of knowing if you are aware of this, but, many people are not aware that blowing into the hose usually makes it much easier to prime a siphon. Make sure the end of the hose in your hand is below the level of the tank and then blow into the hose with a nice deep breath.
I hope this helps you,
Good luck my friend!

Can I syphon has from 2001 dodge caravan from under gas cap

A lot of thieves have tried, but I don't know of many that succeeded. I quit trying to siphon gas from the cap 30 years ago when they started putting springs into the filler hoses just to discourage the practice. And nowadays, anyway, the filler hoses have too many bends in them.

No, I don't think you can, but you could pull off the filler hose from the gas tank fitting and put in a siphon hose right into the tank there.
Another possibility is to shoot 12 volts battery power to the fuel pump (it could be done at the fuel pump relay's position), then disconnect the gas line at a convenient location, like at the fuel filter, and let the pump push all the gas out.

How to drain my 2006 Dodge Durango fuel tank

If the pump will still run, you can open a fuel line, maybe use hose on line to aim down into a container and drain that way. Don't take any lines loose unless your sure no pressure on the system. Sometimes you can get under vehicle remove fill hose from gas tank, then use a siphon hose in the gas tank. Your local auto store probably has a plastic siphon hose, that has a squeeze bulb on it to create a siphon, so you don't have to use your mouth. I don't know if that will reach down the fill tube? In my younger years, they called a siphon hose an okla credit card. I'm almost 70 now, don't like getting gas in my

How to drain a 2004 sportster 1200 c gas tank

The easiest way would probably get a cheap gas siphon hose (you know, one with a hand bulb you squeeze to get the siphon started). What I do is cut a coat hanger open and stretch it straight and then cut a piece a little longer than the distance from the take cap to the very back of the tank. Stick this into the hose to keep it straight (cheap siphon hoses have a tendency to bend and curve away from the bottom, back of the tank. Stick the hose with the rod in it to the lowest part of the take and the other end into some gas container that will hold all the gas you have in the tank and start pumping the bulb of the siphon.

Where do u put the power steering fluid?

Most Chevys have a reservoir under the hood. The reservoir is often near to engine oil reservoir. You will need to bleed the old fluid. This can be done using a siphon or disconnecting the pump return hose. Using the siphon from the reservoir cap is easier and safer.

Here the picture of the reservoir while bleeding with a siphon on a Blazer:

unfortunately most fuel tanks are made so you can no longer siphon gas through the fill tube. if you want the fuel that badly you could disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter and wait for it to drip out.

I have a Whirlpool Duet and the water is over flowing from the soap drawer. I have already cleaned out the soap drawer and tried flushing the opening that leads into the machine with a hose. Any other...

This is inevitably caused by a blockage. The small fabric conditioner compartment in the soap dispenser drawer has a removable plastic cap. This cap fits on the top of a tube which has a hole running through it where the water should siphon through.

When the time comes for the fabric conditioner to be released, cold water enters the small compartment and just washes the conditioner over the top and down the dispenser to the tub. When the water stops flowing, all that is left is the clear water. This water should siphon up the inside of the cap and down the tube.

This tube often gets blocked with the conditioner and if you remove the dispenser drawer and take off the cap you can give the whole thing a good clean out. If the cap is missing, the siphoning will not occur.

To test the function, hold the soap drawer under the tap and allow the water to fill the fabric compartment to overflowing. When you turn off the tap, the remaining water should slowly siphon out of the hole under the cap.

How to drain gas tank

This is the fastest way
1. Disconnect negative side of Battery.
2. Open and prop open the hood.
3. Remove Fuel Filler Cap.
4. Go to the true "front" of the engine - located on the right side of the Van. Look near the coil, strut tower. There should be two fuel lines. One is larger than the other. The one larger is the supply line. The smaller one is the return line.
5. Disconnect the one larger (supply line) of the two fuel lines.

Fuel Siphoning kits are available at most auto parts stores. I obtained mine (hand pump) for $8.00 at Harbor Freight. But make sure it is designed for Fuel. Do not siphon using your mouth.

6. Use a fuel siphoning hose connected and clamped down onto the larger line.
7. Siphon the fuel into an approved container(s).

I own a maytag epic z front loading washer and dryer and when i wash clothes they never get all the way wet and i end up having to rewash them. Im not sure what else to do.

ck to be sure drain hose is not more than 6-8 inches in standpipe top of standpile nees to be 30-36 inches above floor and drain hose should be too snug in standpipe ..any of above conditions may result in water siphoning out and not leaving enough water in tub ..washer only uses 5-6 gals per fill based on load so if water is being siphoned out doesn't leave much left
