Hi, I have two computers. One of the computer has less capacity than the other one, but the monitor is broken in the one that has more capacity, and I'll like to exchange the monitor from one laptop to the other one.

Usually you can hook up a monitor the the VGA out on a laptop and then find the info you need. Hook it up before you boot.

The bset way to do this is to have a switch or router, and connect them by network and transfer all your needed files.

the only problem you might have is, file sharing, meaning if the files you want is readily shared, but there is a way to do that. First try to borrow a montor or LCD screen and connect to the broken-screened LAptop, and try to share the files to network.
One more easier way to fo this is to install a monitor on the broken-screend one, install a USB external hard drive on it and then copy all the files you want. After copying thet, install the USB Hard drive on your perfectly working laptop and copy the files. This procedure is more easier than what you have in mind, cheaper too, because you can always just borrow a USB Hard drive or flash drive. Even a small capacity flash drive would do, it just takes more times of plug and unplug because of the capacity issue.

well it depends on what kind of monitor that you have but you should be able to get one at any best buy, circut city, or computer stores that may carry computers

Why not just removed the cap and then you can read it?

Sorry, but it's kaput. Broken. LCDs were pretty bad a few years ago. A new one will cost a lot less than that one did, and will work a lot longer.

Possibly  your monitor inverter is broken, have a good look in some angel if the screen shows any picture if so then your inverter is broken. Its a common think with monitors.

Hi this shows your monitor has a interference by:
1) by screen refurbish frequency you may try to change this frequency from PC, go to screen setting go high level setting click monitor and change the frequency to 70(or other than 60) ,also you may try from your monitor.
2)stil trouble there, your monitor has a problem with power supply,
the capacity wave filter not very good condition. need to change 5V wave filter capacity (two），should be solved.

Nothing is ever broken beyond repair, but most of the time the cost of repair actually exceeds what you can purchase a new one for. And with 19" LCDs selling for around $139, you get a bigger screen and less money than it would cost to actually replace the screen on that monitor.

It's seems your new pc resolution settings, set to high...
Hook up to another monitor and go to settings to correct your
resolution to 1280x768 or less. That will fixed your problems.

hi there, yes, you do have a broken monitor, bring it to qualified service personel how can repair the monitor. or you can just simply replace it. TY
