An LL43 is a fuser temperature error.
When you first turn on the printer it should display printer warming up and after a little while display the LL43. If the fuser is still cold then you probably blew the thermal fuse and it will need to be replaced.

Line appears on copies from top to bottom of the sheet, Approx 7 7/8 in. It happen both off the glass and when ripping a job to machine

With lines showing up with both coping & printing, you are most likely need a general cleaning and if that will not work, odds are you are going to need a new OPC drum & drum cleaning blade and a new developer change..... Good Luck

Xerox 8830 LL43 ERROR. I see it is a thermal fuse error. do I have to replace the fuse or can I get the machine running again. Thanks,

Open up the Printer and lift the optics bar up and back to expose the drum.
Unclip the drum on both sides and slide back the drum ( CAREFULLY ).
Pull up and back on the drum and let it lock into the upright position.

Under all this is several rollers and whatnot. There will usually be a big pile of toner/media collected under them. Vaccum them out being careful of the drum in the process.

You will also see the bar along the back with Toner/Media magneticly stuck to it.
Leave the toner there. But at the edges of this bar is usually something to prevent electricity from passing through it. Foam tape usually. If it is worn through. Put some tape over these spots. and directly below them on the flat metal surface. Not much tape just enough to cover those little areas.

What happens is when these spots are worn off it allows electricty to flow through it bypassing the fuser. If this happens the Toner/Media will not " Stick to the print " and will fall bellow. enough of this happening will cause all kinds of error messages. Clean it out like this and save your self $$$.

I have LL43 on dispaly

If this does not work place a service call.
Power printer on and off. Make sure you power OFF the printer before powering OFF the Controller, and power ON the printer before you power ON the Controller.
  1. Power OFF the printer. The power switch is located directly to the left of where the power cable enters the machine.
  2. If you have a Controller installed, power OFF the Controller. Not all printers are equipped with a Controller. The Controller power switch is located just above the power switch.
  3. Wait at least 10 seconds.

NOTE: Powering OFF, and then ON again too quickly will result in a software error.

  4. Power ON the printer.
  5. Power ON the Controller.
  6. Switch the A / B button to the ON position. The button will be in the out position and the green light will be ON.

NOTE: Not all machines have the A / B Switch installed.

I have a Xerox 8830, that is getting a LL90 error after printing a couple jobs. I can restart and the error will clear but than comes back after a couple jobs. Is this a sensor or is it some other problem?

LL-90 and LL-91 refer to low toner and too much toner. If low, the cartridge is nearly empty, if too much, tape off half the holes on the cartridge.
