Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Enter bios on start,f2 or f10 i cant rember, too many computer malfunctions on my brain lateley, anyway tab through the bios config .and you should see a listing for your infared data port, you will have to assign a com port for it,it is usually disabled in normal config.,choose com 3 ,com 1 is probably being used by your network connection ,that should keep any hardware conflicts to a minimum,,make sure to save the changes on exit or the wont change,i think in the controll panel you will see wireless device in classic view, that should be it ,but check device manager after restart,to verify that it is there, should appear right above the keyboard, may be labled as a human interface device, get latest updated driver from hp support site hope this helps, aloha from maui todd0708
