Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: memory card error

Don't even think about formating your memory card !!!! As you can't see your pictures from memory card, you need for a data recovery software to recover them. There are a lot of recovery software's at the market and some of them are even for free. Look for it in the internet, under "memory card recovering pictures" Good luck

SOURCE: Memory card formatted in error

when you have formatted a memory card in error the pictures can be retrieved again. using and your pc. You can download and application online to do this. Just do not take any pictures with the memory stick as you will over write the lost pictures. I am using card recovery to find my lost pictures.

SOURCE: Took pictures on camera without inserting card, no cord

Yes, there is.

Insert the card into the camera. Make sure the storage location is set to internal memory.

Press the Review button, then press the Menu button. Press up/down to highlight Copy, then press OK. Press up/down to highlight an option, then press OK.

Note: this process is actually a copy, not a move. The originals will still be in internal memory. After you transfer the pics to your computer, you can then delete them normally.

To change the storage location, press the Menu button. Press up/down to highlight Image Storage, then press OK. Select Internal Memory and press OK.

I need a driver for Optimus DS-5080 digital Camera

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Retrieving pictures from the internal memory

this can be done using a memory card reader.

please use a memory card reader so that every time you dont rely on your camera cable and software for transfer of the photos.

card readers are very cheap.

also you can even directly connect the camera with memory card to the PC. and the camera will show as one of the external devices.

Canyou get pictures put back on the memory card once they are downloaded to the computer?

Yes, you can use a card reader or use window> Mycomputer> camera as a card reader to put the pictures backo n the memory card. It can be as simple as find the pictures and drag them on to the cad. the problem is that most cameras will NOT display them once they are put back on the card. So it may be a futile exercise if you are trying to put the picture back on the card to then display them on the camera or on TV using the Av cable.

hi..
There is a tab on the memory card so you will you need to remove it from the camera and change the position of this tab to "unlock" it.
You need to unlock the card itself. Take it out and look for a tab on the left. It should be pushed up.

Place for a memory card from digital camera to

It does not appear that this laptop has a media slot for you to put your memory card into. So you can use the USB cable that came with the camera - but I find that it is always very slow, and uses up the camera's battery pretty quick.

So you may be better off getting a USB media reader. you'd remove the memory card from the camera, put it into the slot in the reader, and plug the reader into a USB port. In My Computer you'd see a new drive pop up, and you could click on the DCIM folder, and then the 100XXXXX (where XXXXX is the name brand of the camera, or some portion of it) folder, and you can then cut and paste your pictures to the computer. If you Cut instead of Copy, it deletes the pictures from the media, so that when you put it back in the camera, it is blank and ready to take more pics.
