Question about Brother Office Equipment & Supplies
I am not sure what enviroment you are in.
If you are in a cold building, yes this could be true.
Some machines have what they call a "Q", or a comptometer type of electical component built right in the cirucit board. This is a temperture type of componet that works in a certain range of enviroment tempertures. If the area is too cold, it will open up this computent and the machine will not work.
Garages, storage buildings, wearhouses are examples of these places where extreem cold conditions can occur.
If this is not the case in some machines, other causes may need to be explored.
A failed main board, software corruption-software may need to be reloaded by a technition and machine values be added correctly.
