This sounds like the cooling fan has failed, that's what causes the amp to shut down, because if it didn't, it would over heat, that's why the amp shuts off for safety of fire, because the cooling fan only operates in high volumes only, so I recommend replacing the cooling fan, because that's what's the cause, make so sure you order the right correct fan.

Hello there are 2 big capacitor behind the metal heatsink see if one has swelled up if so change them both then check the output chip to see if there are any dry joints then when you've check all and still the same then you may have to change the output transistor g ood luck

My Technics AV Control Receiver SA AX530 is in overload

An amplifier should never be turn on without speakers, it will overload internally.
make sure speakers work and try again.

I have a technics sa-ax7 receiver and have sudenly lost sound on the right hand speakers.can they still be repaired. What could be the problem. Thanks

1). Look for a blown fuse on back - or inside. I had this similar problem with a Technics SA 5060 (vintage) receiver, and there were 2 separate fuses for left and right channels. One may be blown.
2). Try switching speakers (physically switch the left and right input plugs in their jacks - or wires if no jacks. If the left speaker doesn't work now, there is an issue with the speaker that has no sound. Run an ohm meter on these speakers as well to check them. There should be 8 ohms approximately. If no reading, then your apeaker is probably blown. If you can see a short on ohm meter 0 ohms) then you have a short circuit in your speaker.

SAAX7 Technics stereo receiver stops broadcasting after 20-30 min

Ron- The fan does not turn on when the receiver is first powered on, it will run when the amplifiers begin to run HOT, they are kinda controlled by a thermo switch, if the fan does not turn on usually the receiver will shut down and display a OVERLOAD message in the display panel. My advise is to keep the unit well ventailated with plenty of breathing space around the top vent closure, this will allow air flow when loud volume output is used. Also use the rated ohm speakers with the SA-AX7,

Technics SA-DA10 jumps into overload after 10 minutes

Have you tried connecting speakers? What was the result?

Yes, when you turn the volume up on these amps (or when the output gets past a certain level) the cooling fan should automatically come on.

Technics SA-G9057 overload

Check the fan connections at the back. The connections (just two flimsy metal prongs) came apart (I believe), so I have had to re-enforce them with electrical tape so the connections stay together until I investigate a further replacement fan. For now the connections are extremely sensitive to motion/viberation/impact/etc... but it does work now.
