I would need much more info to be able to properly help you. Such as what type of vehicle is this system in? Is cargo space an issue? How much air space do you have in the current enclosures and are they sealed, ported, or bandpass? Do you have the 4 channel bridged to 2 channel? What type of subs are they and what voice coils are on them? The impedance of the subs will determine what ohm load you will be placing on your amp and this is something you definitely need to know before doing any re-wiring. What head unit are you using? What gauge power and ground do you have on the amp?

What kind of speakers are they? Liquid cooled speakers? I am assuming you are working with the bazooka speakers? Honest sugguestion: get different speakers. Bazooka is not that good of a brand. looking at bazooks's webiste the magnet size is only 30 ounces! The only good thing I have seen that have come out of bazooka was way back in the day their "P. Miller" series (a.k.a. Master P) And I never tested the subs, only the amp. What kind of car are you putting them in?

Next, a 4 channel amp is usually designated for the midrange/tweeter speakers. If you want good hard bass, only a mono or duel channel amp will put out the ohms that you need. Remember, you get what you pay for. If you get 20 dollar speakers and a 50 dollar amp, do NOT expect to hang with the big boys, even if the speaker is a 30 inch and the amp claims to be a 10,000 watt. Stay away from sony, stay away from bazooka, stay away from unknown brands.

My ideal set up would be Alpine type R or type X for subs, a Fosgate or memphis amp, and mb quart mid/tweeters. All are readily available, so competition keeps the prices affordable. Look at magnet weight when choosing subs.

Make sure that the cable going to the left and right inputs is OK. Try another cable or test with a different recorder.

I don't get d true bass quality from my car system...

Firstly, If it is an open air sub ( hole with mesh in the center of the magnet) no ports are required, and the box should be sealed on the inside with silicone sealant. If it is a closed air sub ( no hole in the magnet) you need a 50mm port about 120mm long Box size will be 13 inches x 13 inches x 13 inches.

How to mount a bandpass sub

usually you will get the best sound with the box mounted approximately 3" away from rear of trunk with speaker facing toward the rear of trunk if it is a single speaker enclosure you want to do the same just offset it to one side of the trunk corners always amplify sound however just so you know 10's are not really made for low bass they usually have more of a hard hitting pound instead of a low rumble usually 12's will give you the low bass better and it also depends on what kind of box a vented box would be best for low bass sealed box gives you tighter bass but you need more power ported is good for low bass but gets sloppy when loud and a bandpass is used for loud hard hitting bass

What enclosure do i need for cerwin vega v-max 124 12" sub

Just get a 12" sub box enclosure for an audio store near you or make a custom box, a larger box supposedly gives you more bass yet at the cost of boot space. I have a type R sub and the box is only as big as it needs to be for the sub to fit and it gives amazing bass.

I HAVE TWO 15" MEMPHIS SUBS AND A POWER ACOUSTIK 1440 AMP. I AM PUTTING THEM IN MY 2002 SUBURBAN, WHAT IS THE BEST BOX TO USE? PORTED OR VENTED

that mainly depends on the type of music you will be listening to. If you need clean, punchy bass, use a sealed box. For more growl, and louder bass, use a tube ported or slot ported box. I would not recommend a bandpass box for 15"s but they do make them. I have 2 kenwood 12"s in seperate slot ported boxes with a SPL 1500 watt amp, making about 149Db in a 93 Eclipse. Let me know if this helps :)

My car subwoofers work, but theres no bass

turn them off and carefully push in on the cone (gently) and listen for scratching or scraping- push strait in and they should flow freely in and out if they DO without feeling or hearing scraping the subs are probably ok, next its either the amp is not powerful enough or the box is not soundly built, by that i mean its too small for the subs- is the box ported or sealed? if ported try plugging off the vent temporarily and see if bass increases if it does i would permanently seal the box

Is it enough to power to 12 volge=ahagen 12oowatss dual 4 ohms

your Volfenhag 12" subs are rated at 1200 watts they are only 600 watts rms and the Rockford punch p4004 is only 200 watts rms so the answer is yes it will work but if you get a amplifier that pushes out 500 - 600 watts rms you will love the sound from subs
there is nothing wrong with the Rockford amp it just wont pound out the bass as hard but the good news is you will never blow the subs with it
when buying amps or subs make sure to look at rms rating that is the true power they actually have ie. (sub box says 1200 watt you think powerful but if you divide it in 1/2 you actually get 600 watts rms) don't get me wrong that's a nice rating. for a sub but you will want to match that number with the amps rms rating or lower. The RMS is what makes the car pound the higher the RMS the better
hope this helps

Premier sub used to work great ... now nothing

Did you check to make sure that you didn't blow a channel in the amp? Another thing to check would be the connection on the inside of your box, maybe there is just a wire loose.
