Do you have a Levono/IBM? Error 2100 usually indicates a cable problem. Remember the 99% Rule. 99% of the time, ITS NOT PLUGGED IN. Check the seating on the Power plug first, then check the seating on the IDE Cable on the HD, then on the Motherboard. Let me know what happens.

Normally a indication of a failed hard drive. Try reseating drive connections and if nothing changes, replace hard drive
