I often have the same problem and haven't found the solid solution for it yet. But, for me usually helps doing this in following order:

1. restarting my router
2. unplugging the base for about 10 minutes
3. taking the batteries out for about 10 minutes

Hope it will work for you too.

Hi you will have to try doing a hard reset or factory reset to fix this issue . PLease follow the below procedure . This will reinstall all the drivers and reload the OS
Doing a hard reset will make you loose your data on the phone .

Performing a factory reset using phone buttons

If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using buttons on the phone.

  1. With your phone powered off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
  2. While holding the volume buttons, press the POWER button briefly and then release it.
  3. When you see a warning message on the screen, release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
  4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

Buona fortuna.

My Palm Pre is frozen with only the word palm on the screen. I've tried all the troubleshooting I could...

It is downloading an update. It may seem to take forever. It will eventually restart. Sometimes they have taken as long as 20 minutes on my phone. When the word "Palm" starts glowing and "un" glowing, then you know it's about to turn back on.

Can't reply to txt messages it freezes

The phone may require to have its operating system purged and then reloaded. There may be some corruption in the system. The only other fault that can normally cause this is an intermittent hardware failure. The only way to know for sure is to start by having the operating system and all the software re-loaded as like when the phone was new. Don't add back any other optional non original programs until you established that the phone is working properly.

A common cause of damage to the operating system, is when people load in various non approved programs and utilities. Some of these programs may have errors in their code, and thus cause fault conditions.

We use Blackberries in our facility. When the users start to load in various programs from all over we start to have some very interesting fault conditions. Purging and reloading the complete operating system is usually the fix unless there is a hardware failure.

I called support - took forever to get through
Told to unplug phone line, batteries, and AC, then wait 15 minutes.
Then reintall in order of batteries, then AC, then phone.
But once the AC gets plugged in, the light starts blinking again.
The technology of bluetooth with my cell is great, but the interface sucks and the light that won't properly recognize things is incredibly annoying. This one is going BACK....
