SOURCE: Loose refrigerator door handle
weavie, this is one of those ugly little problems. Get hold of a small screwdriver, a pointy knife blade or similar and stick it into the gap, however small, between the cap and the handle. You may be able to find a small indent or similar near the bottom side of the cap. Gently pry up. It will yield. Be patient.

SOURCE: refridgerator door handle
The entire handle slides upward and out to detach from the door. There are two screws attached to the handle which can be tightened once the handle is off. Those screw heads are what reattach the handle to the door by sliding them through the door bracket opening, where they follow a short channel down leaving the handle secured again.

Hi, Most newer models have a screw behind the plastic cover on the handle. Take a good look at the handle and see if the cover can be removed. It should just snap on. If not, please get me you model # and I can assist you further.

some come off when you pull straight up if there are no visible screws. then tighten the screws on the inside of the handle that fasten into the clips on the door.

Tips for a great answer:

To level your refrigerator:
Remove toe grill. Use flat-blade screwdriver or 3/8" socket wrench to adjust the front rollers. Or Turn the leveling leg clockwise to raise the side of the refrigerator or counterclockwise to lower it. Which ever applies to your unit.
Note: Having someone push backward against the top of the refrigerator takes some weight off the leveling legs. This makes it easier to adjust the legs.
