How to swich on my HTC WINDOWS PHONE 8S ?

Are you 100% sure that its fully charged? Maybe a faulty battery or terminal. Batteries do fail after a time. Does it boot while plugged in?

The phone won't turn on (or off)

I have a Droid Razor (you can't remove the battery) that did something similar about a year ago. If you turned it off, it would only turn on when it was good and ready. No matter how many times you pushed the on/off switch.

I took it to the Verizon store, it did it one time for him to see, then, we couldn't get it to do it again. It hasn't done it since. He noted it as being in the warranty period so that I could get it replaced if it came back. It never did. It will be time to upgrade it in May.

Dont know how to open the battery cover to remove plastic on battery so i can switch on my phone

There are two back panels on the HTC Desire HD as it has an aluminum unibody. To remove the back panel that conceals the battery, please turn the phone face down on the palm of your hand with the phone turned off and the USB port facing towards you. On the right side of the handset pull the notch upwards on the panel. The battery should slide off to the right.

My htc hd screen will not come on

Remove the battery and replace the battery back after some time. Now make sure that the memory card is not corrupt , try a virus scan to check. now switch on and see if the phone boots up, if not you will need help from HTC to reinstall software.

My HTC Touch Diamond got switched off automatically for the first time and i am unable to switch it back on again.. Tried everything like removal of battery, charging it but even signs of charging are not...

Is there any changes made to the HTC recently? Like upgrading the ROM? If not, you need to send the HTC to the manufacturer and have them test the battery first and other connections inside the phone.

I checked some forums and it seems that this is a common problem. I think the problem has something to do with the firmware. You may ask the manufacturer to upgrade the firmware of your HTC once you send it. And I believe that it will help you to fix the problem.

Thank you and good luck!

HTC S710 Smartphone not switching on

The battery is flat.
If the battery is very flat sometimes the phone will not start charging or turn on even when a power cable is connected.

This worked for me:
- Remove battery
- Insert power cable/usb cable
- Orange charge light should start flashing
- Re-insert battery
- Leave phone charge for a couple of hours
- Turn on

Htc not turn on, red light on

Hi,
Remove the battery from the mobile, press the power button, for 30 seconds.
Re attach the charger , switch on the phone. If it turns on switch it off again and reinsert the battery and check.
If none of the above steps work, you would have to take it in for repairs as there could be a problem with the power supply inside the phone , that would require special tools to open

Thanks
