Lexmark x1270 all in one printer will not install

Inserted installation disc saying lexmark 1200 series..........says installation complete but it is not. I also have a disc that reads lexmark z22/z32 that came with it. I have printer connected to usb port.

Windows xp home edition has problems running a lexmark, the xp pro dont its a windows problem do you have xp if so when it says needs install dont use the disk let the set up wizard take you to a site to down load the drivers i had to do the same with my X1150 all in one.

I have a Lexmark 1200 . I use it also as a scanner. It works fine producing jpg documents. Is there a possibility to obtain pdf documents and how? Thanks Giorgio Zanini

You scan documents to PDF format. You will need to install the Lexmark OCR scan software to do that. The scan software is only available on the install disc that came with your printer. Insert the disc to your computer hard drive and run the software. After the installation is successful, try to scan your document. You will then have the option to save it as a PDF file.
If you don't have the disc, please contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.

My Lexmark X1270 will not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from the disc and all the files are in MY Computer but not in the Programs accessed via Control Panel. When I try to start my printer a...

No it is not fixed despite another 10hours of downloading and reinstalling.The whole process works fine as a download and set up should BUT the printer still tells me that the 1200 series printer drivers are not installed. Local Experts are baffled.

IT WILL BE FIXED JUST AS SOON AS I FIND THE BIG HAMMER!!
