Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
When i go to connect to xbox live it says i need to get an update so when i make it get the update it says it cant find a pc
First try resetting your connection, unplug your modem or router for 30 seconds and see if you get a connection. after that it would be a software issue. more likely its failing to update because you have NO internet signal. try also, re-configuring your network IP settings which is usually automatic- with no disk in or through the dashboard. if you can get into dashboard try manually putting these in.. but like i said try unplugging your modem for at least 30 seconds to update the IP. good news... if microsoft has to repair it theres a good chance youll get a brand new system though it might take a few weeks at least. is this with a brand new system?

If you receive a connection error, try using the Xbox LIVE Connect Solution.
If her system says that she needs an update then likely her connection should be getting to Live. You might need to clear her cache first and then try the steps above. Here is how you will clear your cache:
To clear the system cache
(It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)
