Defrost timer, and or heaters may be bad. Try finding timer near bottom back side and advance it clockwise at 1 way screw driver slot. When it clicks stop turning it and see if heaters come on. If they do replace the timer. :)

Coils freeze up and fridge runs all the time till I melt coils.

There might be a few causes

Door Seal might be defective causing the door not to shut tightly this causes air from the room to get into the freezer through the opening and as the air comes in contact with the evaporator coils, it freezes. Normally the defrost system removes the ice but if the seal is defective the coils freeze too quickly and the defrost system cant keep up

If the freezer evaporator coils ice over, the defrost thermostat might be defective. Several times a day the defrost heater turns on for a few minutes to melt away any frost that may have accumulated on the freezer evaporator coils. In order for this to work, the defrost thermostat has to sense that the coils are cold enough. If the coils are cold enough the defrost heater will turn on. If the thermostat is defective it may not be able to sense the temperature of the coils and then won't turn on the defrost heater. If the defrost heater doesn't turn on, the evaporator coils ice over and eventually no air will be able to travel through the coils to provide cooling to the freezer. The defrost thermostat can be checked for continuity. It should have continuity when it reaches the low temperature of its operating range.

Call complain , if paid with credit card contest payment as they did not fix problem and you paid them to do so, if paid with credit card that would also extend any repair warranty

Coils ice up

My best guess is that the drain has some debris in it and the defrosted water from the coil is being picked up and being re-frozen against the coil and freezing up the drain pan. The defrost timer may have failed, the defrost termination button fastened to the coil may have failed, the defrost heater on the coil itself may have separated from the coil or just outright failed. Hope this helps and good luck.

Freezer side not freezing

Check for ice / frosting inside the freezer .... If present you probably have a defrost problem.... This causes the freezer coil to ice up and block the air flow ... the causes could be a bad defrost heater , defrost timer, defrost sensors, or control board. Also make sure that the condenser coil is clean. remove ALL dust with a vacuum and a coil brush .the coil is located either on the bottom or on the back side of the unit... You didn't give the Make and model #

Defrost brings freezer temp over 100 degrees

Unit is obviously in defrost too long. Verify defrost clock operation and time setting. You may reduce the amount of minutes per cycle that defrost is actually called on for . 20 minutes should be adequate if you are defrosting more than once per 24 hrs. Defrost clock should have "X" terminal which will terminate defrost once evaporator coils reach a certain temp. It is controlled by a three wire defrost thermostat relay(clixon) attatched to the actual coil in the event this coil reaches 50 degree, the clixon triggers the "X" wire in the timer and terminates defrosting. It figures if it reaches 50 degrees,it must then be free of ice on the coils

Freezer is frosted in back Refrigerator is warm

The problem is the defrost system located behind the freezer back panel.

The defrost system (AKA evap. system) is composed by an heating coil, a fan , and a defrost thermostat, and its function is avoiding ice formation on coil.
When defrost system is defective the fridge wont cool down properly

In your fridge , either evaporator fan, thermostat or heating element is faulty, and the ice on coils is preventing the appliance from cooling down properly.
