Probably your Antenna conection has some defect or may has some loosing part inside your phone. If you can open your phone by yourself, you can lloak at the antenna area to see any defect there. It is mainly due to Service Provider and Phone. When Mobile is low signal area it searches every second for regain the full Network so power consuming is more compare to mobile in Full Network Area.

Getting signal

Unlocked refers to removing software that keeps a phon e"locked" to a specific service provider. Sounds like the phone you have is on a carrier that has poor coverage in your area. I would suggest contacting the provider of your phone to see if they can either 1) update the phones info so it can access other towers (for example - just because it is on Verizon doesn't Mena it is programmed to access all towers as towers are used by contract and towers are often updated) 2) provide you with a phone that is on a different carrier that has better coverage in your area.

Motorola 376G cell phone has no towers

Valleys close to wireless towers usually cause call drops. Wireless carriers are always competing for coverage areas and improvements in reception. Switching carriers or buying prepaid emergency phones for dropped call areas is helpful.

My EX124G cell phone receives a wireless signal from tracform of one bar then two bars. Then it goes back to one bar.At that time it drop any call I am making. Is the problem my cell phone or the wirless...

Your phone may be bouncing off of two or more towers due to location. You may need to contact the service provider to disable your phone from connecting from one or the other tower.

My Nokia 6680 has a problem in detecting signal. it doesn't have a signal even 1 bar. I can't receive any call or text msgs. Sometimes, it has if there is "3G" at the buttom part of the signal...

i had this problem with my old phone with verizon. its because of where you are when this happens, the towers are too far away or their are too many trees in the way of the towers for your phone to get good signal. i got a bettter phone and went with AT&T and not had a problem since

When i make a call my strength bar decreases an drops the call

You might be on the border of two coverage areas, like the overlap between two towers.

First try powering your phone off then back on. Watch the strength meter for a minute or two then try your call.

It also might be dropping as you move it, or block the internal antenna with your hand. If you have speaker mode, hit that as soon as the call connects and watch the bars. They're not realtime, so you only see changes after several seconds or longer.

Try other sections of your house or car, wherever you're trying to use the phone when this happens.

Also, check your battery strength. If it's down to one or two bars, you should charge it up and see if that solves your problem.

I got rly bad signal on my lg dare.but on my other cells the signal is very good.anyway i can boost the signal on my dare,or can maybe sumthing be loose inside the fone itself?

Yes, the same happened with my Nokia 3500. In order to use gprs you require quality signal on your phone but my Nokia 3500 never gave me signal more than 1 bar whereas it has 5 bars. I tried a lot with my service provider and Nokia help desk but to no avail then I removed the lamination from my mobile and there it is all 5 bars came. Then I thought what might be the problem. In my case the case came with 5 metalic links on the top side. which were like anteena and due to lamination they were unable to access the tower signal. You need to check out your phone for such anteenas. meanwhile I'll check your model with my friends. As LG will never give me hints through website or on internet.

Sanyo pm 8200 sprint service no signal

Not sure about the bars, but you can go to the settings in the main menue and try to go to roam only. It could be that you r carrier is having a problem with their tower. Your phone, normally, will try to stay on your carriers towers. If you force it to a roaming status, you might get a better signal, but on a roaming network.

Good luck!
