Error LE. The tub is having a hard time turning.
When there were clothes in it, the tub did not turn at all. After removing the clothes and some of the water the tub did turn.. but it was having a hard time.
This error code indicates "locked rotor error". This can be caused by loose or corroded electrical connections at the motor or control board or by a faulty hall sensor. Unplug the washer. You can start by unplugging and reseating the electrical connections at the motor to make sure there is good contact and to clean off any corrosion build-up. Do the same for the connections at the control board. You need to remove the rotor and stator to access the hall sensor. When you get ready to install the rotor after replacing hall sensor it is best for a helper to hold the drum in place when you push the rotor onto the shaft or the drum may move forward, making it hard to replace the bolt. The drum also need to be kept from turning while the bolt is tightened. I will attach a photo of the hall sensor for reference. Remember to try and check the electrical connections first, before considering a faulty hall sensor. Pay particular attention to the connection on the main control board. It should be a red colored connector. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.
