check boot devices, download utilities from acer, I believe you posted this twice. Check the Acer website for utilities to test your hard disk. You may need your original OS disk to boot to recovery console and use chkdsk /r to fix your corrupt OS.

What Acer model do you have? Are you running Win7? Most Acer notebooks have a hidden partition on the C: drive where the operating system is located. The following information can be found at the Acer support website:

Need to download and install the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver for the operating system you installed. Since you changed the operating system from the one that was factory installed, the Bluetooth Driver provided using Acer eRecovery from the notebook's hidden partition is likely not compatible with the new operating system. You would go to Acer's support web site and select the new operating system that you installed and then download the Broadcom Bluetooth Driver for that operating system. Acer laptops have a hidden partition on the internal hard disk drive which allows restoration of the operating system, applications and drivers to their factory default. Restoration is done by Acer eRecovery Management which can be accessed either through the operating system (if it is still operable) or on powering up by pressing Alt and F10 keys together while the Acer logo is showing.

Don't worry it can be reformat. Your operating system is corrupted because it does not boot up. You need to reinstall your operating system and since you have external cdrom, you will use it to install your operating system. But be ready for your acer aspire 1410 driver based on your operating system . its showing operating system not found, because the system cannot detect your hard disk.

Open your system, remove and fix back the hard disk, then try again.

3. After the Acer eRecovery program has loaded follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.

If the ability to reinstall from the previous method is not available or fails during the recovery, recovery of the operating system will need to be from Acer Recovery Media. In order to recover the system using Acer Recovery Media an external optical disc drive is required.

1. Press F2 to enter BIOS Setup during Power-On Self-Test (POST while the Acer logo is being displayed).
2. Arrow over to "Boot".
3. Ensure that the external optical drive is plugged into a USB port.
4. Refer to on screen instructions to set the first device to "USB CDROM".
5. Press the CD-ROM drive eject button and insert the System CD.
6. Close the CD-ROM tray.
7. Press "F10", then press "Enter" to save the changes and reboot the system.
8. The netbook will boot from the Acer Recovery Media, follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.
