Question about KitchenAid KV25G0X Stand Mixer
When mixing a light dough for 4 minutes at speed 2, the mixer suddenly stopped running though the power was still on. I shut it off to "reset". But now it revs at speed 10 for a few seconds when turned on to "stir" and then dies. Will not reset properly. This happened once before and eventually began working again. No such luck this time.
Your kitchen aid has a little device inside called the hall effect sensor. These often come dislodged or just stop functioning. If you are mechanically inclined you can replace this yourself.
