The hard disk inside that Spire case has died - running the free space clean from CCleaner (a very intensive procedure) has been the death blow to an already sick disk.. Nothing more can be done to save it and the data on it. Replace it with a new one.

Dropped my Seagate while

You really need to take your drive to a service center. You cannot do the repair procedure on your own if you are not a qualified to do the work. I suggest this option so that there will be no more further complications will be generated with your drive.

More than likely it is a back light or inverter board. Usually a inverter board is fairly cheap. Either way your going to need to bring it in to your local repair shop and get an estimate. If this is for a laptop don't spend more than $200 if for a desktop don't spend more than $100

I've drop my laptop.

Man buddy, if that's all that failed, you sure are lucky. Anyway, I don't think that you could have damaged your memory before damaging the hard drive or anything else. The machine should be able to run anyway without any RAM, but does the system actually boot to windows, or does it just say this in the bios? If it boots to windows, that I would just go down to your neighborhood computer repair shop and have them re-connect your RAM cards, or if you're still feeling lucky, then you can open up your laptop with a micro screwdriver set and tighten them yourself. If you wish to do so, let me know, and I'll give you a tutorial.

Lightly Dropped Seagate 100GB External Hard Drive

Unfortunately, this probably means the read/write heads were jarred and can no longer function properly. That's usually fixable, but it's a very expensive fix because the parts are inside the hard drive and the data surfaces are very delicate... Most people are better off simply replacing the hard drive unless the data is absolutely vital.
