May be your power screen time is 2 seconds through properties u can change the time

Monotor not working


Hello !

Since an external monitor works, it is the display's backlight or inverter board.

If you were experiencing discoloration in the screen (pinkish lower light hues) before it failed, that would indicate a CCFL backlight issue. If the screen suddenly went dim on you rather than a slow degradation the inverter would be indicated.

Screen goes black, but power light is on (not blinking)


The problem is not with your screen. Its the problem of Video Card of your system which is unable to send Video Signals to the Screen.

it sounds like your most likely having trouble with the hibernate feature try this
start>>control panel>>power options>> click on the hibernate tab
un check enable hibernate mode
this should fix your issue

Video cards that can handle two monitors at the same time have cables with two plugs on the monitor end.

If your video cable has two plugs on the monitor end, try the other plug.

could be loose connection somewhere external ,internal.ground on internal power supply,if you can replace power supply and see if that fixes it,if it isnt a hassle to get to and do
