How do I set a Crystal 11 report to fail w/no data?
I'm generating a daily report and emailing the report to the clients. If there was no activity for the day and there is no data for the report, is there a way to cause the report to fail when there is no data? We have already set the report to say 'No activity" instead of a blank report. But now we want to know if there is a way that we can get the report to not generate all together if there is no activity. (No email distribution) The report is not printed, only emailed in PDF format. I am not a computer programmer, I am an accoutnant and have recently only started using Crystal 11. I am helping out the IT dept, so I need layman's terms and step by step. Thanks!
