Touch Pad Mouse on the Samsung NC10 My thouch pad mouse is very jittery and seems to have a mind of its own, is this a common problem or is there a way of making the mouse move on the screen the same as my finger does on the thouch pad.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

On my Samsung lap top (brand new), how do I deactivate the touch pad when using a mouse?

There is no need to deactivate the touch pad. You can just use the mouse and not touch the touch pad.

My mouse pad does not work nor does USB cable

Has the mouse lock been applied.
Press and hold the "FN" key and then press "F9" this should unlock the mouse and touch pad.
Failing that try updating the drivers for both using the device manager as I have found that recent updates have disabled my touch pad and I have rolled back the drivers to the previous ones.

The laser mouse jumps all over the screen

Are you using a mouse pad. Try turning it over.

Basically if you have a shiny surface below the mouse, it will behave this way.
