Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

LED light on the control panel for Cycle Complete does not light

The LED light on the control panel no longer lights up next to "cycle Complete" when the wash is finished. When the load is done the LED light only goes to "spin" The washer does spin and the clothes come out almost dry. Could it just be the LED burned out?

Whirlpool WDF520PADM Clean Light not coming on when cycle is done?

Hello. The main control board is defective and its part number is W10650774. However, your unit should easily be under the manufacturer's warranty which covers parts and labor. The light is not from L.E.D.'s on the control panel but from lights mounted on the main board and channeled through plastic light pipes so they can be seen on the control panel. A lot of dishwashers have control panels with L.E.D.'s mounted on a circuit board and connected to the main board with a flexible wiring harness--yours isn't one of those types. Call for service so you won't violate the warranty! I hope I helped you!

Timer light on front panel of dishwasher has stopped working--how is it replaced?

Most of the led lights are fused to the circuit board. Sounds like the circuit board is going or gone bad. I'm not sure because you did not give the model of the dishwasher.

Most of the control lights are led and do not go bad. But the circuit board that controls the lights can go bad. You may be able to fix the control circuit board but replacing it would be easier.

Possible Control Board Failure

This washer can be a pain to diagnose. Diagnostic document link.,d.b2I&cad=rja

Follow the diagnostic directions. The first suspect part would be the mode shifter. Next I would suspect the main control board. All the testing info you need is in the service manual. Check/Ohm out the shifter first.

No sign of life to our 5 year old D/W except flashing "CLEAN" L.E.D.

7-1 heating circuit problem control programmed to shut down machine when no rise in water temp during heat cycle, you either have an open heating element or wire burnt a shorted thermistor or a bad control not outputing 120VAC to the heater you can reset the control by placing the machine into diagnostic hit cancel button to turn off all the lights press heated dry-normal, heated dry- normal within 6 seconds lights should come on press cancel unit should start it will run till same part of cycle reached and lock out again if it has not been removed the little black panel below the door remove should have the tech sheet in a plastic pouch which explains how to check the components mentioned earlier,

Electrolux dishwasher not completing wash cycle and all lights flashing on door control panel and the 'wash pump' error light behind the lower kick space panel was flashing.

Good Morning friend, thanks for your post!

After researching the issue you are having with your Electrolux dishwasher it is possible that resetting your appliance may help. I would disconnect power from your dishwasher by unplugging it or flipping the household breaker for roughly ten minutes. If this does not resolve your issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional to properly diagnose and repair your dishwasher. -T

I have a Whirlpool duet washer and on the control panel the light that says control locked is on and the washer does not work - is there a way to reset it?

Press the Pause/Cancel button twice then press and hold the End of Cycle Signal button for three seconds until the Control Locked light turns off. If it doesn't work, unplug the washer for at least fifteen minutes to reset it.

Replace the user interface/LED assembly if the Control Locked indicator still lights up and not allowing you to operate the washer.

Remove the three screws at the rear of the top panel securing it to the back of the washer. Slide the top panel back and lift it off the washer.

Disconnect the user interface/ LED assembly ribbon connector from the left side of the central control unit (CCU) and release it from the wiring harness brackets.

Pull the dispenser drawer out and press down the release tab at the back of the drawer to pull it out completely.

Remove the screw that was covered by the dispenser drawer in the recessed hole next to the drawer opening.

Open the door and insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into the notch at the bottom center of the control panel to release it.

Press and release the tab behind the right hand side of the control panel securing it to the cabinet.

Gently pry up and release the top of the control panel and pull it off the washer.

Pull the cycle selector knob off the control panel and release the tabs securing the user interface/LED assembly to the control panel. Lift the user interface/LED assembly from the control panel once all the tabs are released.

Install the new user interface/LED assembly into the control panel by inserting it into the tabs from one side to the other until it is completely secured.

Install the control panel on the washer and the top panel in reverse of the removal steps.

Note: Please specify the model number of your washer for the specific replacement parts.
