Hi,
If the fan in the back of the oven is going round and the temperature light is on, but there is no heat then you will probably need a new oven element, these are generally very easy to fit and readily available on Ebay.
To gain access to the element you will have to remove the backplate from inside the oven. Once removed you will see the fan and element, if you look closely at the element you will probably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes however there is no evidence of a fault but the element is open circuit ie: broken inside the element casing, either way it will need replacing. If your fan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook anything, then you need to check if your oven fan is working. As the element is heating but the fan is not blowing the heat into the oven. To replace the oven fan motor is a little more expensive and a bit more involved.

Simpson Harmony Nova electric oven heating problems (oven heats but no fan and light)

The Fan has ,in most cases, two functions - to maintain the oven temp and to clear any condensate or smoke coming from items being cooked. If your oven is over heating it could be the thermostat sensor faulty and giving a faulty reading to the fan. If you set you oven at 350F then sensors control the heat by kicking the heating elements off and in some models and makes the fan aids cool down. Make sure it is at a temperature that would trigger the fan to cool it down. It mostly relies on the regulation of the heating elements to control the temp. Only if it were to get hotter than the elements kicking off can control should the fan kick on. Not being at the site and actually seeing the stove it is hard to determine but if the fan is working every where else it should work when the oven is heating. Again check and see if there is a seperate sensor that monitors the temp of the over and triggers the fan. Not much help but that's where I would look first. Hope this was of some help.

ZBF360X Electric Single Oven: fan oven working but no heat...

Hello,

If the main oven fan is working but no heat it is most probably the ring element which is around the fan blade inside the oven.Check it is the element before you go and replace because there could also be an issue with the thermostat.Hope this helps.

Good Luck,

If the oven is electric and fan assisted, then I would suggest that the oven fan element is faulty.

Bottom oven not working

It is quite possible the control electronics have failed. There are separate relays for the upper and lower ovens. Ours recently failed the upper oven with the same symptoms and it was the electronic control. The other part is the overheat thermal sensor for the oven may be out.
