My speedo light has gone on my dashboard. I have a Peugeot 206 GLX. It means I can't see how fast I'm going in the dark. Does anyone know how to replace the bulb? thanks

@Kenneth Ella: In my Peugeot 206 1.4 (TU engine series), tightening the thermostat housing bolts with a torque 20 nm was the breaking of the thread in the engine head. I think, correct torque is about 10 nm (8-12 nm).

This is an extremaly spicfic code . You say gear box i assume you mean tranmission or rear carrier . Check the VIN # first its on the regastration and the dask board this will give you other information that you will need . Most of the time there will be a metal tag attached under one of the bolts that holds the part on the vehicle or a # stamped on the houseing . Once again this is extremaly spicfic to your vehicle seenig its a PEUGEOT and it may be difficult to locate this part Good luck you need the numbers

your ecu monitor.. emissions control unit mod is done! i dont think this is a cheap fix. either wait for warmer weather,, sell the car or find a dealer to fix this diesel puppy...word of advice .. dont buy peugeot in this country .. or any country...joke.!!

if you push and hold for 3 seconds you will here a beep this is how you switch on your automatic lights,do the same again and they will switch off.when you activate you never have to manually turn your lights on again.when it gets dark they will come on when it gets light they will go off..hope this helps..

I too have a Peugeot 206 - and has given me nothing but grief - mostly electrical.

The fact you are suddenly losing systems, and draining battery points to a short in the wiring loom - which is a common fault on pugs.

I advise you trace the wire from the rear heater to the fusebox (it's labeled in there). Use a cheap multimeter - pull the fuse out and check the wiring both to the heater (resistance to good earth) and the supply( check for 12V )with the switch on. You may end up undoing the loom cover in the engine bay - but check your feet area first for any damaged wires. Try wiggling the loom with the ignition switch on and in neutral to find the problem. Often just taping it up properly solves it.
