Clean the contacts on the cartridge and the printer and it should work .
if this does not work try to turn the printer with no cartridges and turn if off and reload all cartridges .
some times the cartridges have to be really engaged to be reseting the printer sensor.

Reconnect printer to power.

Reinsert cartridges as demanded.

How to fix Error 42


Check for a code 42 , indicating that your printer has a cartridge region mismatch error. Turn off the printer. Leave it off for at least 20 seconds. Then turn the printer back on and try printing again. Confirm a cartridge mismatch. If the error code continues to appear, then check the printer and toner cartridge settings to identify which is not matching Determine if you need to return the toner cartridge for and get a replacement cartridge that matches your printer's geographic region.

The printer refused to print, while giving me a "replace black toner" message. The toner did not feel empty, but I replaced it anyway. There is a brand new toner in the printer, but I am still getting an...


it is a typical new problem for samsung printers. you have to reset the printer. it is a pretty tricky thing to reset this type of printers because you can "blow" it up. try find a local workshop, or a specialized person to do this

I have a C3530 MFP and it won't print because it says check toner cartridge black. Toner Sensor Error

Thanks for using FixYa. Toner sensor error is related to the agitator inside the toner cartridge, it occasionally falls out of its housing so it does not move the toner sensor which is the white plastic piece that moves up and down on the coloured handle, the toner sensors themselves see this white flag if it doesn’t move then the printer thinks the sensor is broken so toner sensor error is flagged and if the flag moves too quickly the machine thinks the toner is empty. To resolve the issue your printer is facing with please check that toner lock lever is in position and follow the following procedure---

Press the cover release and open the printer’s top cover fully. Make sure the Toner Cartridge in question is correctly positioned and the right hand clip is pushed back. While holding it by its top centre, lift the image drum, complete with its toner cartridge, up and out of the printer. On the Right hand side of the toner look for a sensor patch, make sure this is not dirty. If it is dirty clean it with a soft object such as cotton wool. Now look inside the printer opposite to where the sensor patch would sit. There is a black square with a sensor located inside and check that this is not dirty. Now replace the drum and toner, and close the printer cover. Try to print a test page and it will start printing normally.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Yellow runs out after only a few hundred prints and didn't used to


Not sure why you're going through the yellow toner so quickly. You might try pulling it out and shaking it some to re-distribute or loosen the toner inside.

Yes you can override the cartridge out of toner print halted problem. This is located in your User's manual and is stated as:

Replace Supplies feature
The printer has three options for low or exhausted supplies status:
STOP AT OUT (the default setting): The printer continues printing while a print cartridge is low.
When the cartridge is out, the printer cannot print.
STOP AT LOW: The printer pauses until you replace the low cartridge.
OVERRIDE AT OUT: The printer continues printing even after some supplies have run out.
To set the Replace Supplies feature
1.
Press Menu.
2. Press (down arrow) to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE, and then press (check mark button).
3. Press (down arrow) to highlight SYSTEM SETUP, and then press (check mark button).
4. Press (down arrow) to highlight REPLACE SUPPLIES, and then press (check mark button).
5. Press (down arrow) or (up arrow) to select the appropriate setting, and then press (check mark button) to set the selection.

● If you select OVERRIDE AT OUT and then press (check mark button), a warning message appears. To accept the override, select YES, USE OVERRIDE and press (check mark button), and then set the page limit for the override and press (check mark button).
6. Press Menu to return to the Ready state.

Error: 929 Toner Sensor

A 929 Service Toner Sensor error indicates a problem with the toner sensor, the front harness cable, or the developer drive. It could also mean that the toner cartridge is defective. 
The most likely cause of this error is the toner cartridge itself. This is especially true if it is a new cartridge and the error started after you installed it. 
Take the cartridge out of the printer and locate the encoder wheel on the right-hand side of the cartridge. The encoder wheel can be found on the right side of the cartridge (usually over a bar code sticker). It is a thin, black, plastic wheel with small rectangular notches cut into it. This wheel will sometimes get stuck, but you can free it by turning it by hand.  
Try moving the wheel forwards and backwards a little. If it does not turn correctly, you will receive a 929 Toner Sensor error on the printer when you try to use the cartridge it is attached to. Note: The encoder wheel moves only a little bit each way. It should not make a complete revolution. If it does, the wheel is probably broken. 
Try to move it a little bit each way a couple of times to see if you can free it up. Caution! DO NOT force the wheel as you could break it. 
If the wheel on the toner cartridge is stuck, try another new toner cartridge. ( If you do not have another new toner cartridge available, an old toner cartridge or another cartridge from a working printer of the same model will also suffice for this test.) Power the printer off and install the second toner cartridge. Then power the printer back on. If another toner cartridge clears up the 929 error, the printer is fine and the problem is with the toner cartridge. If the error does not clear, there may be a problem with the printer. 
If you narrow down the problem to the toner cartridge, call the point of purchase and explain the situation to them. They may have a replacement policy. If they cannot help you, call our Technical Support Center and we will see what we can do to replace the cartridge that is causing the error. We will not be able to reimburse the price of the cartridge, but we can offer you an exchange. To do this, we may ask you to send in your cartridge first. Please note that we cannot offer an exchange on a refilled or refurbished cartridge. For this, you must go through the point of purchase.

If you receive this error with a second toner cartridge, you may want to check if the Front Harness Cable is plugged into the Toner Sensor. Do the following:
  
Turn off the printer and remove the toner cartridge. 
Look inside the printer at the place where the cartridge goes (on the right). You should see the Toner Sensor. On the back of the sensor assembly, you should be able to see a white cable connector. 
Push this white cable connector into the toner sensor assembly by pushing the connector towards the front of the printer. 
If you continue to receive the 929 error, your printer will probably need service.

Toner sensor error


After replacing a bad drum and toner cartridge, I'm receiving a 543: K Toner Sensor Error. It won't go away, we can't print :)

So i know its not a starter cartridge, and i've 'utilized' OKI's site for all its worth. Was hoping someone knew a possible solution. Thanks!

Both are Sensor errors....You would first check the lock levers that hold the toner cartridges in, if everything is fine with them then you could possible have toner dust on the sensors. First take out the cartridge that you are having problems with, then use a dust off can and carefully clean out any axcess toner that you can see where the toner sits. there is a sensor that looks like a clear plastic or glass eye that reads the cartridges and it sometimes gets dirty.

Xerox phaser 6250 NVRAM Failure


Cycle power, try cleaning the CTD (ADC) sensor and toner full sensor. This is what Xerox has to say about the NVRAM failure: On the front panel, press the key labeled i to view information about the error. Record the error code number. Turn off the printer. Reseat the fuser. Reseat the imaging unit. Reseat the toner cartridges. Turn on the printer. If the error continues to be displayed contact service.
