Broken plasma glass

Panasonic Model Th-42pd60u.Main Glass is broken and when I turn on all I here is noise.Is that common to hear noise?Can this glass be replaced?
I have the same problem

My girlfrined was snooping and she broke my plasma. Do any of you guys have any solution for this.

P.S. Will trade for new plasma. Pics available on request ... serious inquiries only.

actually it is replaceable but it is very expensive, and very time consuming to do the parts and labor will make it cheaper to buy a new model.

Sorry, it's totalled. The glass is part of the main display planel and cannot be replaced.

The good news is that this model was only a 480P HD resolution. Whatever you replace it with will have at least 720 or even 1080 resolution, and cost no more. That will be a huge improvement you will notice immediately.
