We have the waste hose which is connceted to the machine and two connections at the top. One is red the other blue. I am assuming they are the hot and cold connecters. We only have a blue tap coming out the wall is this a problem. Also how do i connect the washing machine to this tap?

Blue is cold red is hot...If you only have one cold feed pipe you can buy adaptor Y piece that allows both pipes to be connected , The drain of course goes into sink waste...Hope that helps

Hi i have a F&P intutive eco washing machine, approx 8yrs old & it seems to have trouble getting enough water & now after the first spin in shows fault code 136, i also have trouble with marks...

I have not had good experiences with this washer My personal opinion would be to purchase a good second hand washer from craigslist as the repairs on this unit will probably reach 300+ including parts. You can get good second hand washers for that or less.

In my dishwasher Whirpool ADP 8967 after the washing cycle start the drying cycle when start it I got the error F7 and the machine stop the cycle. Can some one help me?

Hi simone_b_630,

F7 is known as a fill fault.

1) Remove the filters and the mesh filter, clean out the black grid in the bowl carefully. Don't burst the membrane inside it.

2) Try the machine again after resetting it. (Reset it by holding the start button for 8 - 10 seconds)

3) If the fault persists, take off the left hand panel and unplug the flow-meter, located bottom front of the large plastic water matrix.

4) Plug it back on, reset the machine and try it again.

Also make sure the fill hose isn't kinked and that water is actually entering the machine.

The waste hose is to short, wondering if there is a replcement part and if so, how to replace it?

Hi just read your posting. No need to replace complete hose.If you ring your Local FISHER@PAYKEL SPARE PARTS DISTRIBUTOR they will probably have an extension hose or kit available.Or you can try your local hardware store for a GRAY WATER HOSE which will extend your drain hose quite a bit.Hope this helps and please reply for further assistance.

How do I install a second hand waher/dryer with limited piping?

1 yes all standard.2 Yes you can get a Y piece. 3 no you will only use water from cold. But you can solve that by going to a good hardware store or B.Q and gettein a self cutting tap for washing machines. You can fit this in just minutes, and do not even need to turn off the water supply. just make sure there is a clean straight piece of pipe to fit it to. 4 yes fit waste pipe to u bend under sink.

I have a whirpool washing machichine the creaion model. I was wondering if needs a hot water supply or is it ok to use a y shaped hose.

If you have a hot water supply then use it otherwise use a Y hose to connect the cold supply to both hot and cold inlets. Machines are generally made with cold only inlets today as most washing detergents are formulated for cooler washing temperatures and the mfrs say that it is more convenient and cheaper to heat what is required rather than draining your domestic hot water tank. There will not be a problem with using cold fill to both inlets but you can expect some of the hotter was programmes to take longer than expected as the water will have to be heated in the machine to allow the programme to run correctly.

Drum filling up with water

There are 2 possible problems here. 1. If your waste pipe is connect under the sink and uses the sinks waste as a drain it could be that water from the sink (or dishwasher if also fitted) is entering the machine via the waste. This can be cured by ensuring that the washing machine waste hose is hooked up higher than the connection under the sink. 2. It could be that the washing machine inlet valve need replacing. After time, or if bits of dirt enter them they can let water seep through. This is easily identified by turning off the water supply where the hoses are connected to. If the machine fills up then you know it is entering via the waste hose - if it doesn't then you know its one of the valves. If it is a valve they are available from us at www.ransomspares.co.uk
