Get a large black line on the scans

just purchase an LS 2000 on ebay.
This is the 2nd one I have.
When I make scans, I got a large black line on the scan .
What can that be ? and how to fix it ?

WizThats the reason it was sold on E-bay -The large black Line
Return it to vendor- you were sold goods not fit for the purpose.
