Hi, The buttons of my camera was working great but later on, when I press menu button it was changing the display selections, when I was pressing the zoom in button it was showing menu ???? later on all the button functions are changed, zoom was menu, menu was display... display was zoom... fuzzy.. then now non of them are working... I guess it is something to do with software? is it possible ? also I tried to reset the camera, take out the battery, wait for 15 secs while you push the turn on-off button. and put the battery in, turn it on, this way it supposed to reset the camera I guess, but it is not... is there any firmware, or any software to flash the software inside ???
Its possible the button board under the rear case has been shifted or is malfunctioning. You can try to remove the back case and see if you can realign, or reset your camera's button board. If this doesn't work, there are several online companies that can help - DarnToothySam.com has several repair estimate opportunities, and is pretty reasonable for the price.
