Either the water level sensor is faulty or the selector switch is bad.

Servicing the Water Level Control Switch

This is another control panel switch, usually located next to the temperature switch. There is a small hose connected to this switch, and sometimes this hose becomes loose and falls off the connection. When this happens, the water in the tub usually overflows. To solve this problem, cut about 1/2 inch off the end of the hose and use a push fit to reconnect it to the switch.

The switch itself can also malfunction, resulting in tub overflow and other water-level trouble in the tub. If you suspect this switch is faulty, remove it by backing out the screws holding it in place. Take it to a professional service person for testing. If the switch is faulty, replace it with a new one of the same size and type. Connect the new switch the same way the old one was connected.

My samsung top loader washing machine sw65v9w won't stop filling with water

If the water stops when you stop the cycle, then the pressure sensor is at fault. If you need to turn the water supply off to stop it, then the water inlet valve is at fault.

Intermittent water flow interupted by solenoids pulsing

I've got the same problem. If I pause the cycle, wait about 10 seconds, and then resume, the water starts normally. I suspect the Cold Water Inlet Solenoid is sticking, probably due to water sediment in the solenoid causing it to stick. I'll try cleaning it and then replace if that doesn't help and let you know what happens.

GE top loader washer water keeps running will only cut off at faucets"

If disconnecting power does not stop the water fill, replace the washer's inlet water valve. It is the part the fill hoses screw onto on the back of the machine.

Machine keeps doing one step of cycle and beeps

Hi there.

There may be a problem on the control board (you suspected yes?)
Or it may be waiting for a certain condition.

Basically it's a very simple computer.....-

Select program (sequence of events)
Water fills.....Untill weight sensor says stop.
Water then heats........Untill temperature sensor says stop.
Goes through a sequence of motor spins....untill time out.
Pumps out.....untill floatswitch says empty.

Does same again ...or something else.

Either the control board has a fault - so just doesn't advance, or there is a faulty sensor that never supplies the info needed to advance.
Try and spot at what point it stops and waits. This will pinpoint what it's waiting for.
If it's waiting to heat up - and the element has blown. it will be stone cold. This is a common fault.

Let me know how you get on.
Richie.
