Dear Sir,

It seems to be problem with your cabinet, some circuits of mother board may contacting metal surface of your cabinet,it may cause malfunctioning of your motherboard.
So before putting the mother board in to the cabinet, use some bedding material like cellulose paper,it prevents contact of motherboard circuits to the cabinet surface.if also problem remain unsolved may be problem with *********** board shows problem when it stands vertically.

I think it helps,if you have any problem leave a feedback we were happy to assist you.

Good luck

HP Compaq laptop cabinet fully damage but sytem working fully damage what do

so what i am understanding is that your system is fully operational but the tower is cosmetically damaged. this is quite a job. if you are wanting you can buy whats called a mid atx computer. case. you can get these at a bustbuy or any computer store. you then would swap out the case. this is quit a job. i would first start with taking out the power suply. make sure you label all the wires as what drives and were on the mother board they go. so you know were to put them. i then would look into then taking the drives out one by one. you want to make sure you keep all the screws. a hang way to do is put the screws back in holes after u get piece of equipment out. the next step would be the mother board. there are four to six screws holding this down. you would be able to take this out. then all you do is put in in the new computer case. i would highly suggest getting a antiseptic strap as well as when you take out the mother board be very careful to just touch the sides.

The screen has two lines popping up on the right side, one a red line and another a white line.however this is not affecting the usage but i am worried as to why this has happened and what it may lead...

If your screen has lines then it is the problem of RAM .
Please follow the below steps and you can fix your problem.

1. First unplug all the power cables to avoid electric shock.

2 . Now open the cabinet cabinet and look for the Ram on the mother board. It looks like a long chip.

3. Take the Ram out of the slots very carefully, you can do it by UN clipping the side locks.
Take it out and clean it with cotton cloth and put it back

4 .Place it properly push it in the slot and let the locks be automatically come up and grip the RAM.

Now start the system if the lines come then just place the RAM in other slots on *********** board.
After you are satisfied close the cabinet and you are done.

Hope you are satisfied with the solution.

1. Check the mother board user manual 1st. To see how to properly install this mother boar to your PC cabinet or tower.
2. Check to see if you have the power from the power supply correctly connected
3. You may not have the proper watts or power from the power supply to power said mother board.
4. check the mother board battery it may not have proper voltage it should be 3.9 volts or more with a voltage meter check.
