Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
I got this brand new (in-box) Razr V3 phone from an old friend, but I'm not sure where he got it. I took it to my T-Mobile dealer, because when when I put in my SIM card it says "Searching for Network" for about 30 seconds and it can't find any, it just says "No Service". They told me it was unlocked but they couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. They had me talk to technical support for about a 45 minutes. They couldn't figure it out either. They had me call Motorola where they told me the phone was manufactured for somewhere in Europe (Germany maybe), and that it was out of warranty. They had me do a master reset but it didn't do anything. They suggested I go to their website and update the software. I went through all the trouble and did it all, but the Razr still can't find the network.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! What else can I do? ANY IDEAS?
Motorola's software says this about the phone:
IMEI Number: 3594180XXXXXXXX
Model Number: RAZR V3
Operator: andere Netzwerkbetreiber - autre opã©rateur CH
Okay what you have to do, cause to me it sounds like your internatl antenna needs to be replace...so take it to a mobile repair center and have them replace the antenna that will correct your problem...i guarantee that to you.....

since it is new you can return it to the store you purchased it. it is covered by warranty. or maybe your batt is not yet charged...
if everything is fine, then have your phone repaired to a trusted service center coz usually the phone software is corrupted. have your phone reprogrammed...
