All I can tell you is to either make sure the files are not hidden. If not what you are going to need to do is reflash your sansa: Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings. http://www.sandisk.com/e200series/fwupgrade

How to make the mp3 player work

Plug mp3 player in to usb. Does your computer recognize mp3 player? If yes, than go to "start menu" than "my/computer", than you will see drive folder with mp3 player. Leave this window up.

Now find your music folder with songs. Click song file, drag file to mp3 player drive folder and drop it in there. It will be added on your mp3 player.

Another way mabey easier, is to open media player, click sync device, Now media player can read mp3 player. In media player, find your songs in library or the folder that has them. click on "songs" or song file and drag it to the right side of media player and add it to the list of songs that will be added to mp3 player. Once all the songs are in the list on the right side, you can click the button at the bottom and they will be added to mp3 player.

IF YOUR COMPUTER DOESN'T RECOGNIZE YOUR MP3 PLAYER, YOU WILL NEED TO SEARCH AND FIND THE DRIVER FOR IT AND INSTALL IT.

Cant put songs on opal

Yes. Forget media player and go to limewire.com. After you have downloaded their site type in the type of music or specific song and then dowload.Use songs that are high on the list and use ones that are marked mp3. after the song downloads you will see another area below with commands. Hit explore and it will open another file. Have your device plugged in and then hit copy this file scroll though and highlight your device first. It will usually say Mp3 or something like that. Oh yea before you hit explore you have to highlight the song. simply click on it at the lower area. Also limewire will always ask you to upgrade to PRO and unless you are really into it itis not nessessary. Have fun

Sansa c-140 problem

SanDisk felt the need to hide the MUSIC folder.

You will need to enable hidden files and folders on your computer.

Best of Luck.

Help!

Well, i'm having problems with my Sansa c140 also, but with this problem I think I can help, hook your mp3 player into your computer, than delete all the songs, and simply put them all back on, and if that doesn't work, than repost.
