My nebulizer is not making fumes

Try this. Begin by disconnecting each end of the tube from the bottom of the nebulizer running water through it. This will help dislodge andy blockages.

Turn the top of the cup and lift it off. This will expose the cup baffle. Take the baffle and the cone out of the cup. Rinse it with warm water and dish soap to remove clogged medicne.

Wash out the cup by soaking it in warm, soapy water. Rince out the cup until all of the soap is gone, and make sure water is flowing through the cup openings.

Reattach the hose to the output port on the nebulizer and make sure you have a good connection. Put the loose end of the hose onto the bottom of the cup and reassemble. Make sure you put your medicine in before you reassemble the cover.

If this doesn't work, make sure you have power running to the device. Check all of your connects and try a different outlet.

The dirt is staying in the hose when I vacuum, not

that means there is no air flow thru your machine .. thats often caused by clogged (other) filters ..or sometimes a clogged hose .. you can check to make sure you can poke something thru the hose .. a stick or handle, hose or wire (making sure you dont poke thru the side of the hose) .. there are other filters and passageways in the unit that require cleaning or replacement .. if they get clogged then you will have your simptoms .. since there is lilttle air flow then the motor may overheat .. so dont run it long in that condition .. take all the "dirt cup" parts out and wash them all ...

Vapour does not come out of Omron NEC28 nebulizer

You'll read a lot about making sure that the filter is clean and that the medicine cup is cleaned and that hard water can effect the operation of the nebulizer. However, the problem is most likely in the pump. Even though the pump is running, it is not pushing enough air into the medicine cup. You may even feel air coming out of the tube. When unrestricted, the air will come out, but, once restricted by the medicine cup, the air may not be fast enough to nebulize the liquid. If you want to confirm this, take the tube and hold it to the end of a bike pump, if, while pumpung, you successfully see mist, then you know for sure.

Fixing the pump is not too difficult. Over time, the chamber where the air is compressed becomes dry and, just like a dry bike pump, the air escapes from the chamber due to poor seals. The pump is pretty simple. Make sure it is unplugged from power and remove the screws holding the housing together. Inside you will see the motor, a fan, a power switch and the intake and outtake tubes. Follow the outtake tube to the pump. The junction where the tubes meet the pump is the location of the air chamber. You may need to remove the screws that secure the tubes to the chamber. Once apart, take some grease and lightly coat all of the interior surfaces of the chamber. When finished, reassemble and you're good to go!

My solution in the nebulizer is not foaming or misting!

you may need to switch out your mask unit, the cup the medication is put into has a very tiny hole for air to circulate through. if that hole has been tampered with, or is partially clogged you will not get a mist. you should change out your mask and tubing regularily for sanitary reasons.
hope you get it running again!

There is no mist coming out of the neb machine.

No! don't buy a new machine. First wash the mask, tubes and any other washable part really well by hand. There could be some dryed on fluid blocking the flow of the liquid. Then make sure that the part where you put the liquid does not have liquid on top of the ******** part. Usually a bit of shaking off of the liquid or using a paper towel to dry that part off should help. If this doesn't work let the nebulizer dry out overnight with all parts seperate. I constantly have these kinds of problems with my nebulizer and these seem to do the trick if these don't work then you might need a new machine.

Ok it's the part underneath where you breath in. Screw off that part and put it in. Then the tube will push the air thru making the mist.
