Question about Sony BRAVIA KDL-40S2000 40 in. LCD HDTV
Automatic program mode will not pick up a digital signal when trying to progam it from the tv's digital selection icon
Any TV hooked up to a cable or satellite box can only "see" one channel...the set-top box (STB) converts the channel you are watching to (usually) Ch. 3 or 4. With cable you can split the input if your TV has 2 RF inputs, with a dish that won't work.
That's why the TV stays on Ch 3 and the STB changes to whatever you want to watch.
