How do I connect a 24v damper motor with 6 colored wires red white yellow green blue black to NO COM NC terminals.

Choose two colors of the thermostat wire, and connect them to the NO and COM and connect them to the zone control board leads for the zone intended. Almost all zone valves spring return open when deenergized. So ensure the zone valve is open with the system is off. At the base of zone valve there is a set screw that needs to engage the damper valve shaft in the open position with the motor in the spring release position. Most zone valve are 90 degree moment from full open to full shut. If you have a Carrier zone valve, they go full open to full shut in 45 degrees of motion. Your open stop need to be set so the valve stops in the full stop position.
To help understand the operation of a zone system, say you have 2 zone system and zone 1 thermostat initiates a heat or cool demand. Zone 2 valves energizes and shuts and zone 1 stays open and allow air to heat/ cool zone 1. If zone 2 thermostat simultaniously initiates the same heat/cool demand, the zone 2 valve opens and both zone heat/cool. When either thermostat is satisfied the opposite zone valve closes and when both thermostat are satisfied both zone valves open.
Hope this helps you understand zone operation. The same works for higher multizone systems.

Unit will not heat, change batteries controller cleaned filters etc. Still blowing COLD air

Check the thermostat the auto machines, with a reversing valve, there is no heating or cooling, generally, in the sensing temperature band of 19 Deg C to 22 Deg C and it only works on blower mode, re-circulating the room air. When the sensing temperature goes below 17 deg C, it works on heating and when the sensing temperature goes above 24 deg C, it works on cooling

In the heating mode, blower will not com on in auto but will come on in on mode at tstat

The furnace uses two different speeds. High for a/c (which is the "on" position of the fan switch) and low speed for heat. You could either have low speed of the blower not working or something wrong in the circuit board (if it has one). On the blower motor you may have several plugs that you could change the fan speed and your heat may start working. You will have to access the blower motor to find this out. Red color is low and black is high. Move the Red wire to another speed on the motor and see what happens.

A/c with heat pump. only runs by-pass mode no cool

If you remove the coil from the rev valve it will burn out the coil. So do not do this. Now if the charge is low (static charge to me means at rest or at start up with no load) the rev valve cannot reverse its self. It has to have enough refrigerant to make the reversing valve switch possession

By by pass mode do you mean in the heating mode?.

If this has helped you any please rate me as high as you can if you need more information please post and I'll try answer more, but give me as much information as you can. type of refrigerant, both fans operational, clean filters, all ducts open, what kind of heating electric or gas, your locality : coastal, inland, humidity....

Just a little question, guys!

The blower has absolutely nothing to do with outdoor air. Having the T-Stat set to auto lets the blower come on only when the A/C-heat comes on. With the switch in the ON position the blower simply runs all of the time. Depending on your living space (high ceilings, multi-level) having the blower on constantly while costing a small amount to run can actually save some money and make you more comfortable in the summer. However most people will leave it in auto in the winter so they don't feel as if they have a draft from the air movement as the blower is in high speed in fan on position and cool modes and low speed in heat mode. Many furnaces today are equipped with a setting that allows the blower to run constantly at a lower speed or simply run for a min. or two after the A/C=Heat have turned off.

Blower fan will not come on when set on Auto in heat mode.

the fan is controlled by a fan center or a stack switch. as burners light and heat up the spring sensor on the bulkhead above burners heats up and turns and a a point energizes the indoor fan if it gets to hot the burners go out on safty. sounds like a fan control is bad tap on them gently and they sometimes break loose but if not then have a pro replace fan control and test heat exchanger.

Not heating

Yes, the reversing valve has a separate coil. some energize on cool mode, some on heat mode. Has the thermostat been replaced? I find this a common mistake.
