Question about LG 42PG20 42 in. Plasma HDTV
I have a 42" Plasma TV model 42PC1DA that my grandson broke the screen on.. All the boards were replaced in January under warranty.. I found a 42" LG Plasma tv Model 42PC30 on craigslist that said the screen went black while watching it..
That was the same thing mine did when they replaced the boards..
My question is are the boards the same for these models??
Are all 42" LG's using the same boards??
NO....You must pay attention to all numbers on the back of the TV. Verify these with your tech or contact your LG customer support for the correct board numbers. If the screen was broken I doubt if you can repair this for less than it cost to replace. The screen for this one runs at about $650.00. Good Luck and good advice!
