Re: no power

Chances are you have bad capacitors on the power board. If these go bad then the power isn't stable enough to run the video board.
The video board also has the controls that connect to the front panel.. so bad power, no video, no controls.

Hope that helps =)

My monitor is power turn itself every 5 minutes, please advice me the solving methodl

It's the problem of overheating in the power supply board of the TV.on the power supply board of the tv there are few capacitors and IC.any of this ic is got short or may be due to this when you start the TV the current passes from electric outlet to the power supply board of TV.but when the current passes from that weak/faulty part at that time current gets stopped or slow and the board overheats and TV shuts off. this is a common problem faced by many other users too.the possible option to solve this issue is to check the power supply board by a meter and continuity tester and replace the faulty component on the board which is short due to which power supply board is getting overheated.its bit technical job but yes its not at all a costly repair to do or get it done by the technician. for required parts it can be easily available from local electronic hardware shop. Take care in solving the problem.....

LG E2350 monitor will not start up. Have unplugged and rebooted but still will not start up. 6 months old. Did this 3 weeks ago and a week later started to work.

You need to check the output voltages of the power supply to see which one goes off. It may be due to short circuits some where in the power panel board, but you need to open the back cover of the television to enable you to check for the fault also be careful in solving the problem because it contain high voltage, if otherwise the power supply board is dead, you know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like, to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this help in solving the problem......

Why is my HP vs17e monitor blue power light blinking?

the blinking of power led means that the power supply is not working fine, this can be caused by:
  1. a puffed capacitors in the secondery side of the power suplly
  2. a shorted transistor in the inverter section
  3. a damadged flyback transformer in the inverter section
to solve the problem, unplug the LCD from the power source, wait for 30 mn to discharge the main filter capacitor (150 uf, 400 V), look at the capacitors, if they looks good, check the transitors, if you find a shorted one (0 ohm read) change it. don't forget to test the continuity of the flyback transformer (primery and secondery). i hope that this will help you to solve the problem.

X2GEN MW19U Does Not Power On

You will need a multimeter to check, there is a proteection component that may look like a transistor( but only 2 leads on it) or what might look like a small blue capacitor. also the diodes at the power circut need to be checked. also be sure that solder conections are secure in the power circut
