Question about Fax Machines
Looking in manual I do not see this listed in troubleshooting. i know the newer faxes have a 'life' button you have to push, before you put in a new cartridge, but this is an older fax. I have taken out the cartridge and drum and put them back in, but still get the error message
ps it is not the prduct under the description- but it is the closest match
SOURCE: Toner life end
There is no reset code the likely thing is that you have a faulty toner cartridge. Put another new one in and check the machine then.
Before you try the above shake the toner cartridge and tap it some more as it may also be the toner inside have become solid and needs breaking up.
Hope one of the above works for you

Press life "2" start for toner.
And life "3" start for drum.
These will reset the counters.
If you are having a "check drum error" then you have broken the sensor arm that is attached to your lid.
Call a technician in your area.

after replacement of drum when you close the the cover just wait for few seconds to reset the drum
machine will take one cycle. do not open lid before comletion of reset cycle done.
