Question about Washing Machines
The water level is controlled by the pressure switch which is located behind the load level selector knob on the control panel. Before assuming you have a defective pressure switch, however, read the following link:
In many cases the small air hose comes loose from the pressure switch and causes the symptoms you are experiencing. It could be that during the process of the repairs you made, you might have inadvertently knocked the air hose loose. Check the air hose to ensure it is still attached to the pressure switch and check the electrical connections to ensure they are not corroded. If these preliminary measures do not work, replace the pressure switch. If the pressure switch requires replacement, you can search for the best price at these web sites:

Hello,Sounds like a problem with either the inlet valve or the pressure switch, the way to determine which is bad... while the machine is filling pull the power plug..if the water keeps filling it's the inlet valve that is going to be bad..if it stops filling it's going to be the pressure switch. The pressure switch is located in the control panel and has a small rubber pipe attached.once you have figured which it is replace it good luck.
If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again..Mike
